AAron printers cup win

Well Evo waits for one bus and the two come along at the same time!  Having only scored for three three generations of a family until tonight  but tonight Barton gave Evo a third generation of Shelton’s and also Parker’s / Calland’s.

As for the actual match.  Barton won the toss and asked T&K to have a bowl.  Disaster struck after one ball with Josh Thompson going lame – enter young Ethan Ebrahim as sub fielder.  As for the replacement bowler, young Noah Carswell castled Fin Last first ball.   Tobias Delahunty took a further two quick wickets (2 for 12) reducing Barton to 5 for 3.  Nick Watkin formerly of this parish repaired some of the damage with 47 aided by Matt Lipton with 35.  Barton finished on 114 for 8.

T&K opened there reply with Bobby Western and Rio Koyikkara – combined ages just 36.  Western was soon out but it was a false dawn for Barton, as Koyikkara who went onto score 28 was joined by Faiz Ebrahim who went onto score 43.  Thanks to these two batters and the Barton bowlers suffering from broken raiders the result was never in doubt – a 6 wicket win with 17 balls to spare.  Sadly though not one player ventured into the bar afterwards.

Next up for T&K is a quarter final at home to Stoke Gabriel on Thursday 5 June.
