an interesting day in perth

On what appears to be a difficult track to bat on young Bobby Westernm on his travels for the first time whilst Down Under wasn’t required to bowl as BLCC2 were reduced to 78 all out.  However, after the experiment as an opener, when SDCC batted, Bobby came in at no 3 after SDCC had been reduced to 11 for 2 and finished the day on 32 not out – SDCC closing on 67 for 2.  Day 2 next Saturday sees SDCC having the opportunity to build a big lead.
