3RD XI

The 3rd XI played host to Exwick CC 2nd XI a club which has been recognised for their EDI credentials, some which Evo hopes T&K will soon be getting recognition for.

Exwick won the toss and asked T&K to have a bat.

There were many contributions as T&K scored 170 all out in 35.2 overs.  The highest being Craig Davies with 34.  Mention though must be made of young Fin Pinder a recent arrival from Queens Park who was 22 not out.  Daniel Groves was the best of the Exwick bowlers with 3 for 38.

Exwick knocked the runs off for the loss of just 2 wickets in just 35 overs thanks to Raghav Mishra with 72 not out.  Mishra was supported by Simon Burrell with 40 and Muhammad Khan with an undefeated 32.

For next weekend in the words of Bumble “start the car” (now) as the 3rd XI are on the road to take on North Devon CC 3rd XI at Westleigh CC.
