2ND XI

The 2nd XI went out to Dartmoor to play in the vicinity of Ade Edmundson / Jennifer Saunders residence – taking on Chagford CC 1st XI.  Continuing on the comedy theme but a case of it would be funny if it wasn’t so sad, but T&K travelled without an umpire yet again.

Chagford won the toss and elected to field.

For T&K it was very much a case of no one really got going with Extras though only being 27 was the highest scorer.  T&K were all out for just 130 in 37.1 overs.  The best of the Chagford bowlers being Tom Moesel with 3 for 20 and Jack Brijnath with 3 for 30.

Had it not been for skipper Stuart Lipo (23) and Extras (16) it would have been a complete disaster for Chagford – all out for just 57 in only 25.2 overs.  The stars with ball for T&K were Tobias Delahunty with 5 for 8 and Towkir Chowdhury with 4 for 12.

Next up for the 2nd XI nest weekend is hosting Barton CC 2nd XI.
