SONNY OFF TO AUSTRALIA

The club’s globe-trotting up and coming super star, Sonny Baker, has been selected for England’s ODI squad which is travelling to Australia in November,  If, selected for the warm up match against Western Australia, Sonny will have the opportunity to play at Perth’s famous WACA ground.  The main events against Australia are being held at the Optus Stadium (Perth’s newish stadium), the Adelaide Oval and the Ninja Stadium (Hobart).  The Perth leg of the trip will give Sonny the opportunity to catch up with young Bobby Western who is playing in the city famous for both Black Swans and as the home of the legendary America Cup yacht, Australia II.

Sonny is one of “the four quick bowlers [who] will then leave after the three-game ODI series as we look to manage them ahead of the Test tour of South Africa” according to England Men National Selector, Marcus North.

Good Luck Sonny
