Michael Hunt a member of the fabled Wednesday Afternoon Work Party and President of his beloved Brockman Cup invites you to the first semi-final of this year’s competition this Friday evening at the spiritual home of the competition – The Rec.  The match is probably between Abbotskerswell CC 2nd XI but certainly Barton CC 2nd XI – there appears to be an anomaly on Play Cricket.  However, whoever is playing, in the words of the late great Leslie Crowther who loved his cricket (he actually watched Devon’s first final at Lords):
